Izziwotnot's Bailey Sleigh cot bed isn't the most affordable but it's stylish and well-constructed. It's easy to put together, but it does require two people. It looks gorgeous in any nursery. It also is compliant with British safety standards. The depth isn't so great that your child can climb out and the distance between slats should not be more than 65mm. This should stop their heads from being stuck. You will also need to buy a mattress, which is priced at a cost of PS88.
The sleigh-shaped crib is stunning and makes it stand out from other cots. It's also easy to get your baby in and out of, which is a big plus. It's a little more expensive than other cot-beds however, our panel of experts thought it was worth the cost for its appearance and durability.

Silver Cross' westport design is another cot with a solid feel and is built to last. It can be used from birth as a cot, and later as a toddler bed, and then an adult bed. (Toddler guard rails are sold separately). It was a little difficult for our panel to turn the cot into a bed but their other halves said it was easy and took less than five minutes. It's also a tad more expensive than other cots, however it's the kind of design that you'll likely want to keep and use for your children as they grow older.
